After Central government defers to the strategic plan of "Rely on science and education to rejuvenate the nation" in 1999, colleges and universities greatly expands accommodates. The first question universities met is insufficiency of logistics support. The relative backwardness university logistics service system and the fast development speed of higher education matches with difficulty, which has become its development bottleneck. Therefore, reform is the only way out. At the same time, with the increase of college graduation students, employment competition situation is getting more and more serious, and the practical competency has become one of the most important indexes when corporations employ new staffs. The research of how to promote logistics service innovation and create a new university logistics service system under socialist marketing economy condition is of important and profound significance for the healthy development of China's higher education and promotion of logistics cultivation ability.This article briefly introduces service innovation theory at first, discussed the present situation and problems of China's university logistics by the method of comparative analysis with universities abroad later. There are four ways of university logistics service innovation: culture innovation, technology innovation, system innovation and operation innovation. In the form of questionnaire, finding out students' attitude and demand toward logistics service and making the conclusion that most university students are willing to work in logistics departments so as to improve their comprehensive qualities and proofed that logistics. According to the above theories and questionnaire data analysis, this article proposes constructing a new university logistics service system which has three characteristics: students involved management, students involved evaluation, and students involved construction. Subsequently, concrete implementing schemes of three typical student practice bases are introduced. At last, through analyzing two typical opposite cases, concluding that the operation of new system strongly needs support of colleges and society besides students' participation.
