Actual effect is the key and crucial issue in ideological and political education for college students. And the improvement of actual effect is a big problem urgently to be solved in current daily ideological and political education for college students. Since the implementation of the reform and opening up policy, great achievements and much experience have been gained in daily ideological and political education for college students. At the same time, it should be pointed out, however, that there is still much room for improvement in daily ideological and political education for college students so as to get adjusted to the unpredictable current trend at home and abroad. It is very instructive and enlightening to ideological and political education of colleges to investigate the actual effect of daily ideological and political education of college students and find out what are the students thinking about now. In this way, college can adjust the goals and activities of education to solve the existing problem. At the same time, through in-depth and comprehensive investigation, it provides a theoretical basis and lays a foundation for further research.The present essay, titled "An Investigation of the Actual Effect of Daily Ideological and Political Education for College Students", through researching many literatures, expounds on the significance of the study and starts with the definition, connotation and characteristic of actual effect in daily ideological and political education for college students. It summarizes the current research status of the actual effect of daily ideological and political education for college students. Taking Dalian University of Technology as an example, it uses questionnaire survey method to deeply investigate the achievements and shortcomings of actual effect of daily ideological and political education. It includes the following aspects: political awareness enhanced but some basic theories understood unclearly, lofty ideals but double motivation to join the party, overall quality improved but existing some bad behavior, excellent learning atmosphere but affected by network, keening on social practice but lacking the real opportunities, having optimistic attitude to careers but attributing to the outside world in finding jobs, physical and mental health but the method of adjustment closed, positive attitude towards the actual effect of daily ideological and political education for college students but forms needing to be improved. On the basis of this, it also use the method of attribution Analysis. Then put forward countermeasures and suggestions for actual effect of daily ideological and political education: to build a stable and high-quality daily ideological and political education work team, to construction a scientific and rational management pattern, correctly handling the relations between daily education and classroom education, innovating teaching methods and developing in-depth social practice, combining the multiple education with the theme education, combining the theme guides with the psychological consultation, continuing to strengthen and perfect the culture of campus.
