Study On Teacher Education In Meishan: The Situation, The Problems And The Countermeasures

In the 21st century, education plays a more and more decisive role in the competition of overall national strength. Teacher education will produce a lot of talented people. The new-era teacher education in Meishan City need improve its own quality and level in every respect to exalt the educational strength in Meishan City. We are expected to analyze the present situation and problem from the reality of Meishan teacher education. Then we should search for the developing strategies, combined with its own regularity and characters. That's why the author chose this subject to study.Through bibliography method, investigation method and comparative method, the thesis makes a thorough research into the present condition of teacher education in Meishan. The objective of this research is to have an overall understanding of the major problems in teacher education in Meishan and to find the solutions, ultimately to accelerate the progress of the teacher education in Meishan.As the survey shows, the major problems existing in teacher education in Meishan are that: teacher education's strategic position is weaken because of the lagged concept ; teacher education's policy has not been formed because of backwardness system; teacher education'quality needs enhancing because the pattern is obsolete; the safeguards is not strengthened because the teacher education administration system needs straightening out; The level is somewhat low because the teacher education is lack of strength. The developing strategies of the teacher education in Meishan should pay attention to the present situation and the problem analysis, which can offer the reality basis, causality and the premise of feasibility, from these five aspects: concept changing strategy, system innovating strategy, pattern constructing strategy ,management restructuring strategy, qualification guaranteeing strategy, we can propose the concrete construction project.
