Vocational training is a something that have been accompanying with life of people. Entering the 21st century, our life model has been changed in the society that knowledge and skill have been developing. Our activity has been gradually controlled by our knowledge and skill that we must grasp in our life. In the social context of a knowledge-based economy, vocational training as an effective way to improve the quality of the people is very important. Vocational training has become a culture. It is generally accepted that vocational training is a means to raise the professional quality in the developed countries.With the global economic competition, the developed countries have gone through the integration of high technology, innovation revolution, social organizations and economic organizations. During the process, the high rate of unemployment that has always existed. Germany, France, Britain and the United States have set up vocational training policies that based on the active labors market policies. The developed countries take action to resist the raise of the figure of unemployment and have a good performance to increase the skill of the youth. Product structure has advanced toward the services industry and it is more and better. So vocational training has resolved the developed countries for economic development and social patterns of disharmony problems. It is worth researching.At present, China and the developed countries face the same serious problem of unemployment. How to resolve the conflict between supply and demand of labor, to solve the employment problem of the youth is the problem that China is facing. Although there are lots of difference in the economic and social system between the developed countries and China, in essence, China's employment problems related with the change of social structures and adjustment of the economic structure. There exists certain regularity in various economic factors on the method of Interaction. Vocational training of the developed countries has significance to China's unemployment problem.
