Human-oriented: The Soul Of Campus Cultural Construction In The University

As a sub-system and an important constituent of the social culture, the university campus culture is always in the forward position of the social culture, which is committed to cultivate talents as well as to guide the development of the social culture. Strengthening the campus cultural construction can promote the reformation and development of the higher education. It also has a very significant meaning in strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of the university students, as well as in comprehensively enhancing the university student's quality.Under the realistic background of the deepening of the reform of the system of higher education, the situation of the further development of the socialist market economy and the situation of global culture change, this thesis takes the triangularinterrelation of the "culture-education-person" as the theoretical foundation ofthe campus cultural construction in the university so as to advocate the construction should be "human- oriented". Human-oriented refers to serving people in the campus as the point of departure and the foothold of the campus cultural construction, building good campus cultural atmosphere depending on the concerted effort of the people in the campus and forming the distinctive university spirit.The thesis's structure is as following: by borrowing, assimilating the research results of the predecessors and combining the author's thinking, the first chapter definitudes the connotation, production, development, characteristics, functions of the campus culture and so on. The second chapter mainly interprets the theoretical foundation of the campus cultural construction: the triangular interrelation of the"culture-education-person". On this basis, the author introduces the issue ofthis thesis. It means that the campus cultural construction in the university should be human-oriented. This chapter illuminates that culture is humanism to its essence and the essence of education is a kind of social culture activity by the bidirectional creation between the culture and person. After all, culture and education can't be lack of people's subject of participation. They serve for people, which manifest the idea of human-oriented. Under the guidance that campus cultural construction should adhere to the idea of human-oriented, the third chapter analyzes the disadvantages of the current campus cultural construction in the higher schools and makes a comprehensive view of mental outlook about the people in the campus. It points out that campus cultural construction should take the people in the campus as the main body, make full use of the fonction of people in the campus and make great efforts to form the distinctive university spirit. By combining the feature of the times, the fourth chapter mainly interprets the concrete conception and prospects of the campuscultural construction. It discusses the conception from four aspects-material,institutional, behavioral and mental aspects. Also, with the new trend of the campus cultural construction in the university of the new period, this thesis puts forward suggestions of building the community culture of the students and culture of the small groups, as well as the construction of the modern carrier and new position such as network and mobile phone.
