At present, new standard of course reform about English teaching and learning method is being carried out across China. Under the background of New Standard of English course, English interactive teaching and learning method in middle school classrooms as well as English teaching and learning research in middle school classrooms has become an important task, as well as its significance of theory and its significance of reality.As for all English teachers, English interactive teaching and research in middle school classrooms is a completely new challenge at this time, furthermore, it's also a difficulty faced with English teaching and learning in middle school classrooms.Nowadays, the research about English interactive teaching and learning in middle school classrooms mainly concentrates on interaction in spoken English by asking and answering. This new aspect has played an important role in cultivating students' language communicative abilities, but students can't get good grades in their exams, so English interactive teaching and learning method in spoken English can't guide teaching and learning realities in China very well. As for traditional teaching and learning method by grammar analysis, although it can cultivate students' language knowledge abilities very well, its "dumb English" as a result of English teaching and leaching by grammar analysis is completely criticized over the past two decades. Here the writer introduces a new concept into interactive teaching and learning theory—English interactive teaching and learning method in written English, which is also a teaching and learning method. According to different output ways of language, the writer categorizes interactive teaching and learning methods into two kinds: interactive teaching and learning method in spoken English and interactive teaching and learning method in written English. What is interactive teaching and learning method in written English? It refers to interactive teaching and learning method in written English, mainly in the form of reading interaction and writing interaction. Interactive teaching and learning method is not only an effective way to conduct interactive teaching and learning method in written English, but also an ideal way to examine the result of interactive teaching and learning process in spoken English and deepen its quality of interactive teaching and learning in spoken English. The teaching and learning aim of interactive method in written English is to cultivate students' language communicative abilities and to cultivate students' language knowledge abilities, so as to realize mutual aims of English teaching and learning in a single specified unit time in an effective way.This thesis consists of the following four sections: firstly, the writer states the difficulties in the current English teaching and learning field and presents the teaching and learning aims of interactive teaching and learning method in written English—to cultivate students' language communicative abilities and to cultivate students' language knowledge abilities and points out interactive method in written English is the objective requirement of achieving the mutual advantages. Secondly, the writer approaches the definition of interactive teaching and learning method in written English, and simultaneously reviews its theoretical basis of its birth. Furthermore, discusses its interactive kinds in written English and its principles that should be obeyed. Thirdly the writer brings up the feasible procedures of carrying out the interactive teaching and learning method in written English, so as to provide us with some operational strategies in the process of applying the stated method into the practical productivity. Fourthly, the writer makes a survey about the psychological problems of writing middle school students are faced with, and puts forward a creative solution to these problems by interactive teaching and learning method in written English.Finally, the writer makes a conclusion, the interactive teaching and learning method in written English is really an effective method to achieve its mutual advantages of English teaching and learning in middle school classrooms. At the same time, the writer admits there is still so much work to do for further research about this method.
