As we all know, history education is an important part of quality education. With the coming into 21 century, the potential value of humane spirit in cultivating the younger generation and improving the qualities of the people has become more and more important in the world of education. However, how to strengthen the humanities concern in high school history education has also become an essential problem.The direction of history education reform is to display its special function of humanities, strengthen the humanities concern, follow the principle of equality, democracy, respect and tolerance, care about the students' inner feeling experience, pay attention to the students' spiritual growth and change the teaching process into the process of students-teacher and students-students cooperation, finally, reaching the goal of communal development.In recent years, under the background of "all for College Entrance Examination" and "knowledge class", I am attempting "humanities class" and "life class". What I am trying to find is a way of how to transform the humane spirit contained in history class to the students' inner quality and virtue. The practice has proved that changing the traditional way of overemphasizing knowledge and persisting the principle of taking students' development as supreme can contribute to the cultivation of students' feelings, attitude and values, making them grow up healthily and becoming qualified social citizens.
