Music teaching materials with some given readers and some special requirements, and play the most important roles in the communication between teachers and students, and the communication among students. They are the basic resources for the students to fulfill the goals of their music courses, enhance their accomplishments, nurture their tastes of beauty, increase their culture, and promote their occupational skills. they have been concerned by the society and the mass. Because music has its unique charm in teaching, its teaching materials undertake the function of education, they are the unity of tastes of beauty, thinking education, morality education and enlightenment of philosophy and their power can influence the harmonious development of educatees. Therefore, we should research on them, especially we should concern those problems in the music teaching materials and these are questions for discussion in the fields of academy and educationThe goals of occupational high schools are to cultivate middling professionals and those professionals should not only possess all-sided scientific knowledge and related specialty skills. The austere reality has a higher requirement for the education of teachers for children in occupational high schools. Their jobs are not only to develop students to be qualified for children's teachers, but also to develop their all-round diathesis to make them to be qualified persons with ability of tastes, enjoyment, of beauty representation and appreciation of beauty.From the status in quo of education of teachers for children in occupation high school, the teaching concepts methods and contents are comparatively lagging, and there are very few music teaching textbooks suitable for the situation of China in specialty of teachers for children in music in occupational high schools. The dissertation aims at solving such problems, researches music textbooks in Jiangxi province in occupational high schools, adopts methods of literatures, investigations, comparative analyses and discussions to analyze their advantages and disadvantages from different angles, dissertates their shortcomings and their trends, provides some personal opinions and suggestions as for those problems in music teaching materials, and tries to promote the development of educational career of teachers for children in music in occupational high schools in China.
