Aerobics course examining-appraising is the abbreviation of examination and evaluation ways and means in aerobics course, referring to a set of formal, structured examination system used to examine, appraise and influence the characteristics, behavior and result related to student's course learning and investigate students' practical learning to find out their possible potentiality to obtain the combined development of teaching and learning. The ways to evaluating a course study in university is generally divided into two kinds: qualitative and quantitative evaluation. Qualitative evaluation emphasizes on the quality of course studying effect, and quantitative evaluation will focus on courses for students learning effects that can be quantified for judgment and accounting. The two have their own role; they can not be substitutes for each other, and separated, having to be combined together. Though the ways to examination and evaluation (or called check) the study of aerobics course is not all of the teaching of aerobics course, it is a really important link and component in the reform in education of Aerobics course. The purpose to update and improve the ways to examining-appraising aerobics course is to use the directional and incentive function of examining-appraising to improve the quality of teaching and learning and promote the student's overall performance.Explore that further improves new method and concrete measure that university's aerobics course is studied and checked and rated. Using the methods of literature, experiment, investigation, statistics and logical analysis, the current paper investigated the current methods used to evaluate the aerobics course in some Fujian Colleges to thoroughly understanding and knowing the existing main problems and challenges facing the examination and evaluation of Aerobics course, referencing to the methods of Aerobics course evaluation used in other universities within and outside Fujian province College and experience in other sports evaluation methods to further improve and explore new approaches and specific measures for evaluation of the College Aerobics courses. This paper presents the "competition evaluation" applied in aerobics teaching practice and carried out in the exploratory teaching experiment. The results showed that the competition evaluation method can give full play to their subject-oriented evaluation for the students and functional superposition incentives for learning on the main theoretical knowledge of skills, capabilities, emotional increase; Competition evaluation methods can be applied not only aerobics teaching, but also provide useful innovative reference for other sports courses teaching evaluation.
