Years of teaching in rural schools, the author is deeply impressed by difficulties in junior secondary school students streaming. Then how comes the severe resist from the current junior high school students in rural areas against streaming? What are their understanding and value tropism on streaming? The author bases herself on issues and difficulties in practice, uses prior study for reference, takes her town's case for example, investigates teachers, students, and parents by questionnaires, adopts method of positivism, analyzes statistics, and finds out following facts: the resistance is mainly from traditional ideas and worries on quality of vocational education; There is gap between cognition and practice when parents facing assorting and vocational education; schools should think much of the psychological difficulties happened to students. Reasons cause these facts are: it is lack of vocational guidance and education on psychological health when streaming comes; traditional values on education dominates parents and students, which is not in accordance with teachers'; students are dependent on their social status and lack of initiative on personalized education plans. Finally, the author gives 5 advices on streaminghappens in rural junior middle school. On the one hand,this paper try to make it aware that successful streaming firstly requires students to form right vocational concept and ideas on careers, to have sufficient knowledge accumulation, which allows them to plan their study in a health mood with adequate abilities, clear aim. On the other hand, the author tries to make her contribute to streaming in rural junior middle school study, and to make scientific investigation and introspection on rural education.This paper is targeted at case studies, and its conclusions and countermeasures come from micro study. Because the streaming practices are different in different places, thus, they have no universal application.
