This study used qualitative research methods, through the collection and analysis of 30 rural left-behind children paintings, works mainly include self-portraits, My favorite relatives, my family , the three themes of paintings; On the rural left-behind children, guardians, parents of the rural left-behind children interviews, in-depth study of children staying home, interpersonal relationships and found that the psychological problems of children staying, as well as the causes.The results of this study show that: the psychological problems of rural left-behind children is comprehensive and complex, social and family environment, the parenting styles, the child's age and personality are different aspects of common impact on the rural left-behind children. A very important factor is that early separation caused difficultly to establish attachment security model. . Early childhood, because of long-term, continuous separation with their parents, rural left-behind children can not establish attachment security model with their parents, and rural left-behind children can not be sustained and stable a sense of security, trust, warmth and sense of social interaction capabilities and skills bringed by parent-child relationship.The younger the rural left-behind children lost their attachment object separation anxiety is stronger. he parenting styles of Guardians to the children is difficultly formed a safe, trusting relationship, thereby affecting children's character formation and development. It is very important that Exchanges between the compatriots on the rural left-behind children emotional support in the absence of the parents.The research brings up the idea of Treatment of rural left-behind children painting to combine with Art Education. The idea is based on the following aspects: Firstly, most of the rural left-behind children have some psychological distress. Secondly, the actual situation of rural considerations. Thirdly, the rural left-behind children need a healthy emotional venting channels. Lastly , The existence of the same between Treatment of children painting and art Education.
