Painting is a window that children express inner thinking,feeling,seeing,considerations to others though the way of painting which is an extra linguistic method.Every painting is a“language” in the children's pictures even though scrawl illogically.They explain clearly and reasonably.Children's inner worlds,moods and characters can be reflected in their picture works.Left-behind children is a very special group in China society.Because they are lack of guardianship from parents or they are took care by grandparents,The psychological health status of the left-behind children are not very ideal comparing to non-left-behind children.It is common that left-behind children has sub-health problem,communication disorders,weak learning awareness or weak learning abilities.Part of children has defects in character.Guidelines for mental health education in primary and secondary schools revised by the Ministry of Education in2012 emphasis psychological health education in primary and secondary schools should be prominence.Psychological intervention should be applied to primary and secondary students promptly and guide them to build healthy personality and positive attitude to life.Furthermore guidelines point out psychological health education is an important part of moral education in the compulsory education.It should be given great impetus to implementation.The psychological health problem in primary and secondary students has been widely concerned by the society.Painting therapy is one kind of art therapy develops in the psychological counseling and clinical psychiatry.The painting therapy cannot blend in psychological health education in the school properly because of poor economy,unbalance in education resource and weak teachers groups.This thesis combines painting therapy with art education under the background of school's education.The thesis studies the left-behind children's psychological health problem to improve their psychological status which is the core of painting therapy.The thesis argues how to combine painting therapy with art course in which art activities.Will painting therapy influence left-behind children's psychological development in the further? Finally the thesis will summary experiences and find out the deficiency in the study.
