Probing Into Multiform Investment Mechanism Of American Higher Education And Its Enlightenment

In the western developed countries, higher education has developed into mass period from elite period, even stepped into popularization period in some countries. The scale of higher education is so large that it is impossible to invest by the state alone. So the multiform investment mechanism will be adopted sooner or later. Among the countries taking multiform investment mechanism in higher education, the USA is the most typical. The concept multiform investment mechanism is just a kind of descriptions of many for higher education investment systems. So far, American higher education's multiform investment mechanism has changed a lot, which is a issue worth probing into seriously. Therefore, the author intends to study the multiform investment mechanism of American higher education. And then analyze the enlightenment to our higher education reform.The main body of this thesis divides into three parts.The first part introduces the theoretical basis of American higher education investment mechanism, and then summarizes the history of this system.The second part analyzes the current situation of the multiform investment mechanism of American higher education, and then its developing tendency.The third part gives some advice to constructing higher education investment mechanism reform in China according to American experience and the reality of China.
