The science education is an indispensable curriculum during the elementary school education stage, the new concepts and ways of education request that elementary science teachers promote their qualities, adapting to the teaching work of science education under the new situation. Teachers' accomplishments, teachers' role localizations, teachers' concepts, teachers' actual teaching behaviors and performances, teachers' professional developments and so on, they affect the effective implementation of the science education directly. The adaptability of elementary science teachers is an urgent problem in the development of science education. In this paper, we investigate several science teachers who work in elementary schools in Changchun City through questionnaires and interviews, understanding the actual situation as well as the difficulties and doubts of science teachers' adaptability. We propose a number of strategies to enhance elementary science teachers' adaptively, and provide some bases for the question of elementary science teachers' adoptions.There are four parts in this paper:First part, introduction. It mainly includes the propulsions of elementary science teachers' adaptability, the definition of basic concepts, literature reviews, the purpose and methods of the research.Second part, investigation and analysis of elementary science teachers' adaptability. From the teachers' accomplishments, the teachers' roles, teachers' teaching behaviors, teachers' professional developments, teachers' teaching reconsidering, teachers' understanding to the curriculum resources, examination and evaluation, we carry on the reorganization analysis, without striving for comprehensively, but to reflect certain problems.The third part, strategies of strengthening the adaptability of elementary science teachers. This part is based on the previous part , proposing the strategies of strengthening the elementary science teachers' adaptability, such as the abolition of the local quantificational final examinations, and the development of multiple evaluations, increasing the propaganda dynamics and making the public to understand the importance of science subjects, carrying on the reforms of school management system and incentive systems, fully mobilizing the teachers' enthusiasm, developing curriculum through various channels to establish curriculum resource packages, taking the advantage of normal university to train more qualified teachers.Fourth part, reflection and prospects. To propose the problems and shortcomings of this research and the forecast of the following research.
