As the new curriculum reform is being carried on ,"ideology and morality"is in the transformation of"morality and life", but the study on the design of morality and life's theme unit is still not very much in china. How to purify the theme in numerous and complicated subjects in the holistic perspective, the research is of much value. The design of morality and life's theme unit from holistic perspective is a breakthrough for the curriculum design of morality an life under the guidance of new curriculum standard. The designs of this curriculum in china at present often start from the theory of activity and life. However , it gives not much help that how to guide students further as to life and activities themselves, some teachers are still confused.This article tries to start from integral perspective, in the standpoint of teachers, verifies the development of theory in the way of action research on a case.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of the issues and the methods of this study, the second is a summary in theory, the third part is the analysis on"work is most glorious"in integral perspective .the fourth part is the analysis on the unit design of morality and life from both the significance and the limitation aspects, then gives some suggestions on teachers 'cultivation and their professional development.
