On the premise of the theories of linguistic psychology,applied linguistics, psycholinguistics,socio-linguistics,and summing up the present research of English learning strategy home and abroad.On the basis of absorbing the achievements of the research in learning strategies home and abroad,especially English learning strategies research results of the western "second language acquisition",the present study has made a further study on the theories,such as its definitions,characteristic,structures,basic factors,research significance and so on.By means of experimental method,a retrospective method is adopted,the objectives' senior middle school English entrance examination score and the scores in the first and second semester of Grade One and Grade Two,the first semester of Grade Three and the college entrance examination score are collected and the English learning strategies questionnaire tablet is used and Using SAS 9.0 analysis data:x~2~test,U~test and a dual factor multi-level analysis as to probe into the using of English learning strategies about successful English learners and unsuccessful English learners.The results show that English test achievement varies due to the use of English learning strategies.The successful English learners show steady progress in English test achievement while the unsuccessful English learners do not. Thus,it is safe to come into the conclusion that the successful English learners benefit a lot from the effective English learning strategies and the impact of English learning strategies on the English test achievement is great,the longer the learners adopt them the greater the impact is.On the basis of above theories,through scientific analysis and some teaching suggestions provided,it is hoped that some theoretical basis and practical method can be found which will be conductive to present-day English language teaching in senior high school.
