A Research About The History Interest For Mountain High School Students

Einstein said: "Interest is the best teacher." Interest is very important for learning. With the influence of the quality-oriented education, it turns out that improving the autonomy of learning, taking creative learning and raising their interest of learning becomes more and more important.Based on the survey from Zhuxi No.1 and No.2 Senior Middle School, I've conducted an exploratory research on the interest of learning history for mountain high school students and some other related factors. There are mainly four aspects: First, mountain high school students interest in studying the history of the state; Second, the cause of the interest of learning history; Third , what factors affect the course of history students interested in studying and learning ; Last, how to improving and maintain the interest of learning the course of history.By this survey, it'll be found that mountain high school students interested in studying the history curriculum in general. Students interested in studying the history of the majority of courses are indirect interest, and most students' interest is direct one, taken together interactive. The reason students are not interested in history courses is that it's no use in our future life and there is badly needed to memorize lots of things.Through the survey of social trends and connecting with the actual social situation in the mountainous area, there are many factors that affect students interested in studying the history curriculum, including two aspects: subjective aspect and objective aspect. The former consists of social surroundings, college entrance examination system, conditions and management thinking of school, the school degree of attention to history, students' family, teachers, and textbook, etc. The latter is the recognition about importance and usefulness of history course and their learning methods.In a word, in order to maintain and improve the interest of history courses learning for the mountain high school students, we'd better take it from two aspects. One is the high school and another one is the efforts of history teachers.
