Universities are always regarded as the main positions where honesty education is offered and educators in universities together with university students are seen as the symbol of honesty. However, with the development of China's reform and opening up, the gradual establishment of the socialistic market economic system, diversification of the principal part of the interest, forms of social organization and social lifestyle and the more and more serious situation of employment, people's traditional idea is impacted greatly. Especially for the negative factors of the market economy, people cannot resist various temptations respecting interest and become discreditable and mercenary, which results in the social credibility crisis, and the group of university students are quickly affected. Therefore, the integrity education for university students is not only the current hot issue of China's higher education, but also an urgent and realistic question for us to solve. On the basis of Marxist philosophy, this article explains the honesty education for university students, describes the current situation of the honesty education for university students systematically and logically, analyzes the inner factors that promote the development of university students' honesty education, thinks about the fact of the university students' lack of honesty from philosophy and shows the author's opinions on the way to establish the system of honesty education. There are three chapters in the article: the first chapter mainly introduces the connotation of university students' honesty education; the second chapter analyzes the current predicament of university students' honesty education based on the idea that the social consciousness is determined by the social existence; and the last one explores the establishment of the system for current honesty education in universities from the theory of the active and the passive.
