Correspondence education is the centuries-oldest forms of long-distance education in adult education history, which supplies more study opportunities for all people, especially for countries minorities, remote villages and education underdevelopment areas people, who lost opportunities of receiving general higher education and secondary education. Higher level correspondence education indicated the particle expand of traditional correspondence education function, it's a process of actualizing deep process or farther exploitation for those who have already accepted education, also, it's a good rural adult education model for exploring rural human resource.In china, most practical technical talented person is brined up by correspondence education. It's proved the farmers correspondence education which is low cost, big study space, don't need deviate job place and production, is one of the primary education model in the situation of our country.The research used farmer correspondence education theory of China and foreign countries. It's research object is China farmer university, research content mainly about the development trend of the combination of correspondence education and modern long-distance education, research method is analyzing China farmer university past years students'statistical information, and other questionnaires spot check. In conclusion, the research impersonality described the characteristics of our country's farm correspondence education. Meanwhile, it analyzed the factors of affecting the development of farmer correspondence education through some aspects, including the development of modern science and technology, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional correspondence education, the revenue status of our regional economy, the investment behavior of correspondence education and the best model of modern correspondence education and so on. Also, at the end of the research, it pointed out the development trend of farmer correspondence education.How to deeply analyze and discuss the development of China's farmer correspondence education according the characteristic of correspondence education, design a new type correspondence education model, ensure it's development direction, and guide farmer correspondence education walk out the puzzled is very important to promote China's rural education and improve farmer's culture level.The innovation of the article is that it can research the wholly farmer correspondence education, particular analyze the correspondence education through each composing factors, and expatiate it's traits, not only do the research on just one aspect. The article pointed out the restrictive factors of traditional correspondence education and modern long-distance education, it's research conclusion can offer reference to government for resolving rural education problems, farther exploiting rural human resource, and establishing rural containable development stratagem. Traditional correspondence education and modern long-distance education will be exist coinstantaneous for a longer time. Combining the two education models effectually, using broadcast, TV, internet, multimedia technique in correspondence education, optimizing two resources allocation, that is the development direction of farmer correspondence education in China.
