As a sort of new educational pattern, long-distance education has been familiarized and accepted gradually by society and has become an effective way to construe the concept of life-long study. With our society and economy developing, the issue of society fairness attracts our eyes every day; nevertheless education fairness is the extension of society fairness and there would be no society fairness without education fairness. By poll from the perspective of the mass, teachers and students, this thesis maintains that long-distance education is of great help for the realization of education fairness, and simultaneously it multi-dimensionally probes the update circumstances of long-distance and the reason which exerts negative influence on education fairness, and finally puts forward the correspondent strategy for development by considering today's circumstances: establishing the concept of life-long education to expel modern long-distance education; trying to let more people to enjoy excellent long-distance education to make education fairness come true by developing economy; enhancing the construction of modern long-distance resources and teaching-assistance service to confirm quality as the life line of long-distance; regulating the style of teaching as well as study with the "separation of teaching and testing" and the enhancement of management of long-distance education to make education fairness come true; regulating teaching institutions to create a positive and fair external institution-management surroundings for long-distance education development.
