| With the coming of information era and the appearance of new media, media literacy has becoming person's necessary and basic literacy. The improvement of whole peoples'media literacy should begin from children, and last for one's whole life. Great attention has being paid by home academics especially the education area to the way of improving the youth's media literacy, the way of enhancing their cognitive, understanding, analyzing and utilizing ability towards media information.In order to keep pace with our educational system, we should add curriculums of media literacy into middle schools and elementary schools without upsetting the original education order. As network curriculum is becoming the assistant of instruction, we can try to teach media literacy curriculums through network, which can fully embody the new learning theory in this information era. Around this theme, this study included the following aspects:Firstly, in order to pave the way for the development of this study, the author studied the theory and practice about media literacy education both at home and abroad, carding and summing up the experience and lessons from them, making use of the classical framework from the Center for Media Literacy.Secondly, the author studied the development and trends of network curriculum and selected the most suitable network platform for this research.Thirdly, the author designed a network curriculum on media literacy for Chinese primary and junior students. According to junior students'media literacy status and the secondary school curriculum standards, the author designed such a targeted network curriculum, and practiced it in a secondary school to check the effect of this curriculum, hoping to provide some reference in the following education reform.Finally, basing on teaching practices, this article analyses and sums up the execution of network curriculums on media literacy, and put up some suggestions and ideas for further studies.
