The Research Of Beginning Teachers' Inductive Education

The 21^st century is an era of information, knowledge and globalization. The high quality teacher demand of this era has got unprecedented degree. All the countries of the world are searching the approaches and methods of enhancing teachers'quality. Along with the raising of life-long education idea, people realize that education should be a continuous process through whole people's life, and teachers'education should also be a continuous process through whole teacher's career. This process not only includes pre-service education and in-service training, but also includes the bridge of the two phases, namely beginning teachers'inductive education. Because firstly induction period is a key phase in whole teacher's career, secondly inductive education is an important bridge between pre-service education and in-service training, thirdly inductive education can speed beginning teachers'professional development. The developed countries of the world look on inductive education as one of the approaches of enhancing teachers'quality. At the same time pre-service education, inductive education and in-service training make up of the whole teacher's education, and get more and more attention.Through the study of the literature, we understand that Britain, America and Japan have begun the study of beginning teachers'inductive education in the 1960s. Their research on inductive education is very early and they have set up the inductive educational system. All of these can make great inspiration for our country's inductive education. Through questionnaire and visit, this paper investigates the actualities of inductive education in Songjiang District Shanghai. We understand the practice and summarize the experiences and shortage. Based on the analysis of literature and the practice of investigation, this paper brings forward some thinking to our country's inductive education.
