Presently, teacher education is facing challenges and changes. The new requirements for teachers have attracted people to research on "teacher learning". Teacher education has been combined with teacher cognitive research, teacher continuing education and teacher career development research for a long time. Since 1980s, it has been an independent research issue and gradually been the hotspot in teacher education area. In a word, teacher learning is a new research area with few researches , particularly lack of empirical studies. Moreover, there is even fewer researches focus on primary teachers.This study investigates three hundred primary teachers in Kaifeng, Henan province on their learning actualities on the bases of reading literature about teacher learning. This study wants to collect data about primary teachers learning to provide reliable information to other studies. Furthermore, the author analyses the reasons for the actuality in the purpose of giving suggestions about primary teachers learning and to provide scientific information for further research.This study consists of six chapters:Chapter one puts forwards the issues. It summarizes related researches and raises the purpose and core concepts of this article with the help of other realated studes.Chapter two introduces the design and processes of these questionnaires. It includes the selection of objects, the design and calculate of the questionnaires.Chapter three elaborates the process of interviewing two teachers in primary school. It involves the basic information of them, the process of conversation, the analysis of the result of conversation.Chapter four is about the countermeasures and suggestions to cope with primary teachers learning.
