With the gradual development of the popularization process of higher education, the service market of higher education of our country opens gradually too. The Public Colleges and Universities expand to recruit continuously, outside college and the private colleges gradually join to make the higher education service market more competitive. It is a significant problem how to obtain survival and development for private colleges in the face of the competitive education market.After development for more than twenty years, the non-governmental higher education in our county is now beginning to take shape and the education quality has been improved greatly. However, compared with The Public Colleges and Universities we can see that its strength is still not very strong and there are a lot of problems in many aspects, such as its own practice on the management, view on private colleges, legislation on private colleges, and so on. Therefore, the private colleges can't offer education service on a higher degree yet, and private colleges are put at a disadvantage in the cruel competition. Because the private colleges in our country act on their own on funds and school running, the rise and fall of it totally depends on their competitive ability. In the future, the only way of private colleges to get rid of the competition is enhancement their strength and influence, so those schools must cultivation and enhances their core competence. The private college's superiorities and differences with the other schools are using social funds, adapting to the market demand and fully market-oriented mode of operation of schools on their own. Therefore, I think the private college's core competence is their flexible and efficient system, it's the key that private colleges y obtain the market competition...
