Researching The Core Competence Of Private Colleges

China’s rapid development of private colleges and universities, but alsoat a disadvantage in the fierce competition in the private universities, to formtheir own core competitiveness, and the current research on the corecompetitiveness is still not mature. Based on this background, this paperstudies on the core competence of the private colleges and universities.Following the "core theory--comparative analysis of logic thinking--caseanalysis--form the conclusion", by absorbing the research results at homeand abroad to study the theory of the core competence of private colleges anduniversities.In this paper, the process of creation, mainly uses the literature researchmethod, survey method, case study method, comparative study method,through the collection, analysis, logical induction integrated refining, case,the final conclusion, the conclusion of the study into the implications andsuggestions for private colleges’ core competence construction, early byapplying the theory of core competence to the research on the developmentstrategy of private higher education in our country.This article closely focuses on the core problem of "how to enhance thecore competitiveness of private colleges" orderly, through comparativeanalysis of differences between private universities and public universitiesand advantages and disadvantages, summarizes the problems and difficultiesexisting in the development of civilian run colleges and universities inrunning schools, and further combined with the characteristics of privatecolleges unique private system, running mode, internal management,resources and so, it comprehensively discusses the main ways to enhance thecore competitiveness of private colleges. Points out that the privateinstitutions in order to achieve long-term development from the fiercecompetition, we must form the core competitiveness, and give full play to theadvantage of the system, and the characteristics of school running, teaching quality, teachers team construction, comprehensive analysis should be how toenhance their core competitiveness.At the same time, the Xiamen XXvocational college as a demonstration, application of case discussion, sum upits experiences, analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings, by checkingthe core competence in the private universities, the core competence theory ofthe system of private universities, private colleges and universities tocultivate the core competitiveness of proposed recommendations and theconclusion, provide reference theory and reality of private colleges anduniversities have a competitive advantage and sustainable development.
