The present elementary education has formed an education model for the influence of the thought of examined-education in past many years, the national college entrance examination is regarded as the center of it. The assessment standard is based on the result of test.The mark of the test is very important, it is not wrong to obtain a good grade. However, if we have an only way to evaluate the quality of education and teaching, that is much narrow. In fact, the examination is one of important ways to evaluate the course, but it is unique. At present, the quality of school education is evaluated according to the mark of the examination, especially in the matriculation. It shows that there are some deviations in the pupil assessment of the elementary education, therefore it is very necessary to reform it.The research of this thesis is facing to the reform for the pupil assessment of Chinese course in senior high school. The thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first part, the connotation of educational evaluation and pupil assessment were expounded, by using the advanced theory of the educational evaluation. That is the cornerstone in my research. In the second part, the paper interpreted the negative feature of the current pupil assessment, and the bad influence of school education about Chinese course in senior high school, liking with many views of experts and the teaching practice. The last part, I analyzed the background, including the needs of the times, the course standard, the nature of Chinese course and the theory of pedagogy. After that, five principles for the plan instruction are put forward. Last, a total plan of pupil assessment for Chinese course in the senior high school was advanced, the plan consists of eight kinds of evaluation, namely classroom, Chinese activities assessment, end-of-term examination, listening and speaking test, referring paper, graduation examination, written and spoken in the national entrance examination.Facing the advance of quality-oriented education, deepening the course reform, and lots of disadvantages of the present pupil assessment, I hope this research will be very useful for the development of Chinese course, and these views will help the pupil assessment of Chinese course in senior high school to walk along with a wide and smooth road.
