Status Quo And Countermeasures Of Wushu Sanda Development In General Universities Of Hubei Province

Through documentation, questionnaire, expert interview, mathematical statistics, and analytical method of logic, this paper makes a survey and research on the status quo of the sanda development in 30 general universities in Hubei province. The result indicates: the situation of development is improved obviously compared with that before; the majority of universities have begun the programs of sanda; the majority of college students are acquainted with sanda and willing to take it as an elective course; the students also have a clear motive for this course; the teachers of sanda in general universities of Hubei are well qualified, most of whom are college graduates and young and middle-aged. But some problems also exist: the teaching object is not clear; the corresponding teaching facilities are insufficient; the teaching method is out of date and the quality of theory is relatively low.There are corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems: we should first confirm the difference of cultivation focus in general universities and classify the ways of developing of sanda from the view of academy. Second, we should lay stress on the education of wushu sanda, and set up"health first"the teaching thought. General universities are supposed to stress the training of sanda teachers, and introduce the high-level professional teachers. We should organize competitions of wushu sanda more often than before, popularize the movement of sanda. The sanda teachers should make efforts to give wide coverage to the movement of sanda, and produce a favorable external environment for it. We should get weight of the leaders and improve the fund input in wushu sanda. The new teaching mode suitable for students should be created creatively to arouse the interest of learning sanda. We should benefit from the experience of other programs, spread and popularize in key areas, optimize the cultivation of the reserve.
