Since the 1980s, many teacher educators have researched teachers'practical knowledge. Teachers'practical knowledge is a tacit knowledge and is applied in the daily teaching practice by teachers. It is an important component of teachers'knowledge, meanwhile, it is the essential to promote the professional development of teachers.Teachers'practical knowledge consists of curriculum knowledge, pedagogic content knowledge, general pedagogic knowledge, self-knowledge and the tact of teaching.The aim of this study was to compare teachers'practical knowledge between novice and experienced teacher through the case study. Using classroom observations and interviews, it was found that the difference between novice and experienced teacher's practical knowledge. First, experienced teacher hold richer knowledge than novice, that knowledge covered pedagogic content knowledge, general pedagogic knowledge and curriculum knowledge. Second, the tact of teaching of experienced teacher was more excellent than novice, and experienced teacher acted according to classroom circumstances. Because of long-term accumulation of teaching practice , in the face of unexpected events, experienced teacher used this tact easily and could be effective teaching. Finally, novice and experienced teacher could be proper self-understanding. So it was concluded that experienced teacher's practical knowledge was richer than novice's, and teachers'practical knowledge was developed or adjusted by teaching experience. So it is most urgent that we should improve our teacher education to develop teachers'practical knowledge.
