In the quality structure of teachers, educational faith is an important part, of which the sense of teaching efficacy is the core and it affects the teaching competence of teachers and the study effect of students. Therefore, a research on the influencing factors of the teaching efficacy of teachers is significant to cultivation of teachers. According to the self-efficacy theory of Albert Bandura, the sense of teaching efficacy of teachers can be classified into general teaching efficacy and personal teaching efficacy. As agencies that carry out the PE teaching activity of schools, PE teachers are responsible for building up teenagers' constitution and promoting their physical and psychological health. The teaching competence of PE teachers is the individual psychological feature that directly affects PE teaching efficiency and it is also the teacher-related factor that most decisively affects the PE teaching effect. Meanwhile, subjective cognition and evaluation of PE teachers for their own teaching competence, that is, their personal sense of teaching efficacy, will directly affect their leading role in the PE teaching process. In the previous research on the sense of teaching efficacy of PE teachers, however, most researchers limit themselves to macroscopic theories to explore the factors that influence the sense of teaching efficacy of teachers and discuss the cultivation strategies. They lack detailed and in-depth analysis and research on the causes that lead to poor sense of teaching efficacy of the PE teachers. Based on the practical PE teaching and available theoretical research, this paper employs the documentary method and questionnaire method, and applies the self-efficacy theory to explore the factors that influence the teaching efficacy of PE teachers in terms of curriculum content, curriculum provision, curriculum value and the teacher-student conceptual conflict, and propose effective approaches to enhance the sense of self-efficacy for middle school teachers.
