The education of outlook on career for university students is playing a more and more important role, along with the steady dispelling of "the arranged allocation by government" which as a rigid policy before will be transformed to anew mechanism under which the government gives a directive policy and students choose jobs in dependently. Because "two-way and voluntary choices" brings not only changes in employment pattern but also challenges in psychology and thoughts.What is universitys' views of job selection? They are the combination of the attitudes to, the relatively stable ideas and the basic instruction thoughts of choosing professions. As a summing-up, we can analyze these views in three aspects. In form, these views consist of students' opinion, belief, faith and ideal for choosing jobs, shown in various ways; In content, the views have reflected the subjects' fundamental position, needs, interests, as well as the subjective features in realizing the interests, the necessary abilities and activities. They are also the mental system of goals, which exists centering on what to believe, what to pursue and what to realize; In function, the views work as a criterion in students' mind for judgment, to decide the quality of the profession and the value of the careers chosen.Universities should develop consciously students' career awareness, career behaviors and career capabilities rather than view their employments in a changeless sight which just answered them concerned questions and provided them with helps and thanks to appointing some occupations. We should make a special effort to educate them how to get clear self-conception, take vigorous and effective self-control and maintain a sense of self-responsibility. So they would have the courage to choose, decide and operate them.The contemporary university students' views of job selection are in a transitional period when the new replaces the old, with the coming collapse of the old views and the weak establishment of new ones. Therefore, students' judgments, and choices become more complicated and chargeable than before. Accordingly, the views and methods for the education for the views face new challenge. The topic of this essay is brought forward against the aforesaid situation.
