Study On The Learning Motivation Of Middle School Students

Learning motivation is one of the most important factors in developing a foreign language. And the new English curriculum put great emphasis on language learning motivation. When I was a English teacher several years ago,I met some unmotivated students,and I tried many ways to motivate these students .I think the research on students learning motivation is very instructive,that's why I do this research.There are five parts in this research,the first part is the importance of leaning motivation,the second part is the currently prevalent learning motivation theories,the third part is the investigation on some Middle School students,and analyze the factors that influence the students'English learning motivation such as achievement Motivation, Self-efficacy,Family factors and School factors. The result shows the relationship between the achievements and the learning motivation of Middle School students.In the last part,I provide some concrete methods in motivate the students'English learning motivation.
