As the new round reform of mathematical curriculum gets deeper, there are more and more problems worthy of thinking and researching by Mathematics educators in Mathematics instruction. For example, the development of junior middle school students' spatial image abilities. Because most current researches on spatial imaging abilities are in the psychological region or research children, this paper choose view to do tests in the junior middle school. We want to have objective information of junior middle school students' learning on view so that we can have some knowledge about their spatial sense, and want that the result can help the exploiters of mathematical curriculum and teachers. This paper wants to solve the following problems :(l)How does junior middle school students' cognition of view develop and what is the change between junior middle school students and primary school students on view? (2)Is there difference between genders ?(3)Is there difference between junior middle school students who had studied view in the primary school and those who had not?(4)The relationship between junior middle school students' cognition of view and their geometrical scores. This paper does the study using questionnaire and statistic analysis. The data is analyzed by SPSS.As far as junior middle school students' cognition of view is concerned, this paper has drawn the following conclusions: (1) The older they are, the deeper junior middle school students' cognition of view develops. As far as every lever, the degree of difference between grade one and grade two is the least in the lever one, and the degree is more in the lever two, so is in the lever three. (2)There is no notable difference between genders.(3)Students who have higher geometrical scores perform well on view than those who have lower geometrical scores .(4) Junior middle school students who had studied view in the primary school perform better than those who had not. Junior middle school students' cognition of view is better than the primary students, and the degree of difference between them is the least in the lever one, the lever two is next, the degree is the most in the lever three. Basing on the findings of this study, some suggestions for junior middle school teachers and curriculum developers were given at the end of this thesis.
