| The vice director of Education Ministry, Wu Qidi, pointed out that professional degree education in China had completed the experimental stage and should enter the fast development stage of the integral propulsion, system innovation and improving qualities at the joint conference held by the Professional Education Guidance Committee in BeiJing, on March 22nd, 2006, which was not only the full affirmation, but also proposed the further development to the professional degree education. How should the professional degree education adapt to the request? The thesis named "A Study on the Development Countermeasure of the Professional Graduate Education in China" will carry on the discussion about the questions of professional graduate education's development in China.The thesis begins with the concept "professional degree" and analyzes the attributes of professional graduate education in China. Afterward, the thesis introduces the development process and practical situation of the professional graduate education in China, USA, England and India, summarizes the same influence factors of the professional graduate education development except China and makes the analysis on the enlightenment to China. And then it points out the questions such as unbalanced hierarchical structure, branch-class structure and layout structure, bad quality and quantity of the student source etc.. At the same time, it analyzes the reasons and the influence factors of the questions. At last, the research proposes the corresponding countermeasures: adhering to the guidance of market, expanding the independence of universities, strengthening the engagement between the professional graduate education and the occupation authentication , making a connection with the professional graduate education and the higher vocational education and establishing a set of perfect safeguarding system of quality—the professional graduate education authentication system and so on .
