Postgraduate education is a mid-highlevel education in higher education that shoulders the task of cultivating top-notch talents.In recent years,with the continuous implementation and advancement of the six major strategies of Henan Province's Grain Production Core Area,Central Plains Economic Zone,Airport Port Area,Zhengzhou-Luoyang New National Innovation Demonstration Zone,Henan Free Trade Zone,and the Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone,Henan Province has ushered in an era with unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Postgraduate education should constantly adapt to the new requirements of economic and social development in Henan Province to cultivate more high-quality and innovative talents that meet the needs of the society.Optimizing the layout of disciplines,enhancing the quality of disciplines and talent development has become a key issue in the development of postgraduate education at present and in the period to come.The focus is on the adaptability of postgraduate educational structure and economic development of Henan Province,and the research is expected to provide more deliberation for the development of postgraduate education of Henan Province,to enrich the theoretical research on the relationship between postgraduate education and economic development of Henan province,and to provide reference for optimizing the structure of postgraduate education in Henan Province.By using SPSS data-statisticsanalyticalsoftware,an empirical analysis is conducted on the relationship between postgraduate education structure and economic development in Henan Province.The assumptions are constructed from the perspective of the postgraduate educational hierarchy and the structure of postgraduate disciplines by selecting the variable indicators to finally establish a regression model of the postgraduate educational structure and economic development of Henan Province.It was considered that there was a correlation between the postgraduate education structure and economic development in Henan Province.It is concluded that the relationship between the structure and hierarchical structure of postgraduate education in Henan Province are not adaptable to its economic development,and it fails to meet the needs of the rapid economic development of Henan Province.To this end,first of all,we should adjust the structure of postgraduate education in Henan Province in order to adapt to its economic developmentwith a special focus on adjusting the discipline structure and the hierarchy.The disciplines of postgraduate education should be adapted to the industrial structure of Henan Province by setting up disciplines that are urgently needed for social and economic development.Secondly,the proportion of masters' degrees and doctors' degrees must be coordinately developed.And therefore,the structure of postgraduate education in Henan Province should be adjusted to accommodate the needs of the society so as to cultivate more highly qualified and innovative talents needed by the society.In the meanwhile,we should strengthen the discipline construction of postgraduate education toimprove the quality of disciplinesand to upgrade the quality of economic and social development and ultimately serve the economic development of Henan Province.
