Research Of Radio And TV University Participating In Community Education

Modern sense of community education is an essential platform of building lifelong education, and an important way of creating a learning society. At present, community education in China has a great development, but there is still a considerable gap for the requirements of learning society. People are becoming concerned about and think about how to promote effectively the development of community education. The author believes that in the current information environment, taking the advantages of modern distance education to promote the development of community education may be an effective way. Radio and TV University (RTVU) should be the main carrier to participate in community education because of their school goals, their own position and the characteristics and unique advantages. Moreover, from a practical point of view, many TVU are using their resources to community education, and actively explore the new model which introduces distance education to community education. Therefore, it is a very significant theoretical and practical issue to talk about the new vision of TVU - community education. In this thesis, by using the methods of literature, investigation, analysis, etc. in the context of the life-long education, lifelong learning, learning society, on the basis of organizing the basic concepts of the past and community education model, the author analyzes the inevitability and feasibility of TVU participating in the community education. Then focus on a few typical examples of investigations, talk about their present status and problems. In the end, on the basis of concluding practice, strategies and recommendations were deeply discussed, in order to provide some workable suggestions and comments for the future work.
