Research On Quality Assurance Of Modern Distance Education In RTVU

With the implementation of modern distance education program, distance education is becoming an important means of people's life-long studying in times of knowledge economics. As the largest education institution of China, the education scale of Radio& TV University has become No 1 in the world. How to assure the quality of distance education has becoming an impressing problem to be studied and solved. On basis of taking an overlook at the present situation of distance education quality assurance at home and abroad, this essay aims at analyzing the related basic conceptions and theories, accepting the latest research production on RTVU both at home and abroad, discussing the necessity and feasibility of quality assurance in RTVU modern distance education, designing the basic countermeasures of distance education quality assurance.Focusing on the subject of "modern distance education quality assurance in RTVU", this dissertation is divided into six parts. Chapter one, as an introduction, mainly deals with the research background, importance, main contents ,researching manners and framework of the essay. Chapter two analyzes the basic conceptions of distance education, quality assurance and modern distance education quality assurance in RTVU. Chapter three probes into the present situation of quality assurance in modern distance education both at home and abroad. Chapter four expounds the basic theories of distance education ,quality management and quality assurance. Chapter five, by means of demonstration research, discusses the necessity and feasibility of quality assurance in modern distance education. Chapter six, the last one as well as the most important part, starting with ideas, conditions, process, organization and system, investigates into the basic countermeasures of quality assurance in RTVU modern distance education, with the purpose of providing a certain consideration and preference so as to conceive a basic frame of quality assurance system in RTVU modern distance education.
