An Analysis On The Function Of University Student Association To Socialization

Higher education is central to an individuals'improvement and their socialization. The goal of higher education is to socialize the students and make them suitable for the need of society. The degree of socialization of college students will have huge influence on the development of society and the students. In recent years, with the rapid expansion of the scale of universities, college students associations, which becomes their primary choice out of the class, grow quickly and they participate with more and more intense enthusiasm. In other words, the associations play an important role in terms of improving students'comprehensive qualities, directing them how to adapt themselves to society, and facilitating their performance and progress in job-hunting. In conclusion, the associations, which has been placed immense influence on the process of the socialization of a university, play a significant role in the students'socialization.Basing on the theory of sociology, pedagogy and pedasociology, and by virtue of the academic paper and the communication of some faculty and students, this thesis is dedicated to research the function of the association in the process of socialization to the college students. The thesis contains the definition, types and characteristics of association; it is also extended to embrace the connotation, content, and the influence factors of socialization. And then discuss the dialectic relationship between them, which is fundamental to analyze the path and embodiment, furthermore, the reasons that the association acts on the process of socialization. In addition, it links the reality to demonstrate that this effect still exist some deficiencies. Putting forward the relevant strategies on the basis of the practicality to spark a boon for the process, and then we can boost and perfect this process of socialization.
