Today’s soceity is in an era of rapid technological advancement and economic develop ment. The compact rhythm of daily life brought more and more severe challenges, this h as caused the requirements for talents to become more and more complex by the modern society. The establishment of the university personnel training objectives has also been keeping up its pace with the times. The vivid varieties of student organization activities are a major attraction to students, they are also able to meet the needs of contemporary college students’ self-awareness and personality development. The young students of today, under the impetus of the developing modern era, are more characteristic of the current era, they need to be in organizational activities where their individualism can be express ed. These activities need to be rich, comprehensive, exciting and professional in order to continuously meet their need, especially in the modern society where growing social pre ssures are inevitable in their growth transition, their need for entertainment, personality tr aits, maturity, and society adapation etc. Student Associations are in the right place to pr ovide a good platform for university students to receive comprehensive literacy training, allowing them to better adapt to the developing social needs.However, the Students’ Associations after years of development, although had many ac hievements, but also gradually revealed many problems. The existence of the low position of student body; organizational st ructure imbalance; inadequate management mechanisms; little recognition from the univers ity; insufficient guidance forces to support; organizational positioning inaccuracy; underde veloped organizational hardware and software; lack of activity innovation and other issue s.This study is based on the current development of college student associations, an anal ysis on the main causes of these problems raised. It is concluded that insufficient recogn ition from the university is one of the attributions; lack of materials; professional guidan ce and management support; as well as due to the increasing need for students’psycholo gical development, the internal management mechanism of student associations are mostly unscientific, and their development directions are vastly unclear. In this regard, the auth or combines literature data and reality, suggested some countermeasures, emphasized on d eepening structural connotation, to elevate student body recognition; strengthen professiona1guidance, and match teaching system, where main focus should be on assessing the pro cess, building a scientific management system; focus on training talents, build and demon strate quality student associations in order to expand their field of development, and com bine these aspects with needs of the modern community.
