| Theoretically supported by the socialization theory, this research studies the influence to the college students' socialization by the organizations in colleges and universities from the angle of the influence of individual socialization by the fellow group. On the basis of investigating the basic situation of the students' participation to the organization from the three aspects that to join the organization or not; to join which kind of organization and the involvement degree to an organization and describing the current situation of the college students socialization in the views of moral socialization, politics socialization, character organization and personality organization, this research draws the conclusion through the positive research using the methods of questionnaire and personal interview combined on the sample of four universities affiliated to ministry in Wuhan.The results show that most of the students join the organizations, but the motivations are diversified and the students in lower grades are the main body of the members in organizations. The most attractable organizations are the ones of artistic hobbies and the ones of public welfare or professional academic are the second attractable ones. From the subjective feeling, the college students consider that they can extend their social intercourse circles through joining the organizations, and then they can also cultivate their hobbies. The low involvement of the students in organizations is mainly expressed by the lack of times that they take part in the activities and the lack of communication among the members.The research on the influence to the college students' socialization by the organizations in colleges and universities shows a lot. First, the organizations in colleges and universities make great influence on the students' socialization except for the character socialization. The students who join the organizations have better moral cognition than those do not, and their moral participation and the politics emotion and attitude are more positive. In the aspect of personality socialization, the former have higher ability of self-control. Second, the influence of the students' socialization differs from the kinds of the organizations. The students in the organizations of politics have better ability in social intercourse. The ones in professional academic organizations do better in academic fields, have clearer cognition of their roles and have more features of modern individuality in their politic behavior. The ones in the organizations of creation are better in social intercourse but poor in self-control. The ones in the organization of public welfare are higher in moral cognition and better in moral behavior. Third, the number of the organizations that the students join does not have the obvious influence on the individual socialization, but the depth of the involvement has great influence on their socialization which are mainly expressed on that the students' moral behavior is better in personal sphere than in public sphere and the more the students get involved in organization activities the more positive their emotions and attitudes are to the current politic system. The character behaviors of the students who have deeper participation in the organizations are better conforming to the demands and hopes of social roles. At the same time the depth of participation has a lot of things to do with the improvement of the students' ability of practice and their study. |
