Research For The Contribution Of That Vocational Education In Yanbian State Toward Economic Development

Vocational education in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture (hereinafter referred to Yanbian) is closely related to Yanbian economic development. It is the combination of the educational resources and the economic resources of Yanbian. It's also the most direct and effective channel to improve the quality of the laborers in Yanbian. It's for the vast majority of the practical talents of different occupations.With the method of E.F.Dennison, an American economist, using certain computation models we can approximately measure the education's contribution to the growth of the national economy of a certain period, especially the vocational education's contribution. It is much clearer and more exact than simply using language to describe the status and the role of Yanbian vocational education. It is also easier to make horizontal and vertical comparison so that useful inspiration can be drawn. With Dennison's method, this article calculated the following education's contribution from 1995 to 2006 to the economic growth", which are elementary school education, the junior middle school education, the ordinary high school education, the medium vocational education, the higher vocational education and the undergraduate course above higher education. It has also carried on the conformity comparative analysis to the data and found out that vocational education in Yanbian plays a great role in the development of Yanbian economy.In modern economic development conditions, in order to properly solve the employment issue in Yanbian, to develop vocational education is essential. Yanbian vocational education is to improve the technical workers, to enhance the ability of the laborers. It is helpful to improve the laborers educational level and cultural knowledge as a whole. It is a good way to cure the structural imbalance in employment in Yanbian.Therefore, the environment and the mechanism of vocational education in Yanbian should be optimized. Vocational education in Yanbian should be developed vigorously. Vocational education reform should be increased. Vocational education system in Yanbian should be consummated. Vocational education graduates' development opportunities should be expanded. Vocational education and economical coordinated development in Yanbian should be promoted. Massive well-trained professional talented people and the high quality workers should be trained and created. By doing so, the competitive power will be greatly enhanced.
