Research On The Contribution Of Secondary Vocational Education To Guangxi Economic Development

Secondary vocational education is an important part of human resource development,an important way for the majority of young people to open the door to success,and provides a solid talent guarantee for speeding up the modernization of vocational education and promoting economic and social development.At present,Guangxi education planning is in the transition period of the 13 th five year plan ending and the 14 th five year plan beginning,which is the key period of increasing the strategic deployment of building a modern vocational education system,and also the period of comprehensively deepening the comprehensive reform in the field of secondary vocational education,which puts forward new requirements for the development of secondary vocational education in Guangxi.Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has been actively promoting secondary vocational education,and emphasizes improving the ability of secondary vocational education to serve local social and economic contribution,so as to accelerate the modernization of vocational education.In recent years,the scale of secondary vocational education in Guangxi is in the forefront in Central South and southwest China.However,with the continuous upgrading of industrial structure,it is facing the dilemma that secondary vocational education is not strong in serving local social economy.Based on this,it is of special and practical significance to focus on the contribution rate of secondary vocational education to the economic development of Guangxi.Based on the research on the contribution of secondary vocational education to the economic development of Guangxi,this paper uses mathematical statistics to describe and analyze the basic situation of secondary vocational education and economic development in Guangxi on the basis of combing the theoretical analysis of human capital and economic growth.On the basis of c0 bb Douglas production function,it uses Denison’s educational econometric model and "weight distribution method" to calculate the economic development of Guangxi The contribution rate of Western secondary vocational education to economic development.At the same time,on the basis of studying the contribution of secondary vocational education to Guangxi’s economic development,this paper further analyzes the differences between secondary vocational education and the whole country,different levels of education,different economic regions and different industries,in order to find out the problems between the contribution of secondary vocational education and economic development in Guangxi,and put forward the corresponding policy improvements and suggestions.According to the empirical study,first of all,the contribution rate of secondary vocational education to Guangxi’s economic development is 1.22%,which is higher than the national average level,but the economic contribution rate of secondary vocational education is far lower than the level of higher education,and the distribution of economic contribution rate of secondary vocational education in various economic regions of Guangxi is unbalanced,and the contribution rate of majors in various industries to economic development is too different.Secondly,the problems and reasons of secondary vocational education’s contribution to Guangxi’s economic development are deeply studied.First,the financial investment of Guangxi government in secondary vocational education is still insufficient,resulting in the contribution of secondary vocational education to Guangxi’s economic development being 1.22%,which is lower than the average annual GDP growth rate of 8.62% in the same period,and the secondary vocational education and economic development are not coordinated;second,the financial investment of local government in secondary vocational education is lower than that of ordinary colleges and universities,and the educational level of secondary vocational teachers is lower than that of ordinary colleges and universities,resulting in the economic contribution of secondary vocational education being lower than that of higher education Third,the spatial distribution of the number of secondary vocational schools in various economic regions of Guangxi is unreasonable,resulting in the uneven distribution of the economic contribution of secondary vocational education in various regions;fourth,the contribution of various industries to economic development can not meet the market demand,resulting in excessive differences in the contribution rate of various industries to economic development.Therefore,we should continue to increase the investment in secondary vocational education,change the idea of secondary vocational education to connotative development,optimize the regional layout and structural adjustment of secondary vocational education,and promote the construction of disciplines to meet the market demand.
