Nowadays, change has become the theme of our age, and the society has changed or is changing at an alarming rate and manner. Meanwhile, university of China is going toward the center of society from the margins of it in order to look for new development. The change of university curriculum culture is right result to follow this trend, and is the inevitable demands to seek for its own development as well.To look back the developing history, you will find the shortcomings and deficiencies existing in our university curriculum culture. The cultural, educational, human nature and national characters of the curriculum culture has been obscured, so that the curriculum culture alienates its educational and cultural nature gradually. If the curriculum culture sticks to tradition and refuses to change, it will never seek for the reason for its existence in the future. Change does not only express the dissatisfaction towards the curriculum culture, but also places the corresponding state of hope. To change is to lead and promote the improvement of the curriculum culture, because change is the only way to make university curriculum culture to adapt to the development of university, society and human beings.Taking the change as the theme, the university curriculum culture as the object, and the tradition as the basis, this paper tries to explore the developing road for the university curriculum culture in the integration among history, reality and future.In particular, this paper includes five parts as follows:The first part answers the question of what is the change of university curriculum cultural, and describes the ideal pattern of university courses culture on the basis.The second part studies on the reasons for the change of China's university curriculum culture. On the one hand, the internal reasons for its change are the shortcomings and deficiencies existing within the university curriculum culture; on the other hand, the development of the university, society and human beings promotes the change of university curriculum culture, which is the external reason for its change.On the basis of the above research, the third part analyses the main elements of the change of our university curriculum culture. On the whole, to change the university curriculum culture is to change the alienated attributes and quality, to return its own quality to itself, and to make it become itself. Specifically speaking, to change the university curriculum culture is to pursuit its cultural character, to return its educational character, to stick on its human nature, to establish its subject quality and to maintain its national character.The fourth part explicates the path of changing the university curriculum culture. That is the question of in what way the university curriculum culture should change. The researcher believes that the university curriculum culture should change in the following ways: to break through the contradiction between tradition and change, to integrate in the confrontation between science and humanity, to go beyond in the match between subject and tool, and to seek a way out in the tension between local community and internationalization.The fifth part explains the security of changing the university curriculum culture as follows: to establish the rational and consciousness sense of curriculum culture, to establish its life awareness, to seek for its feelings of tolerance and concern, and to pursuit its noble and transcendence.
