Analysis Of The Present Situation And Researches Of Development Countermeasures On The High Level Sports Teams In Colleges Of Jilin Province

Organizing high level sports teams in general universities is to integrate competitive sports into higher education, which is also the development tendency of current global competitive sports. Although general universities in our country have gained some achievements in practice and exploration in experimentally running high level sports teams, the general standard of the high level competitive sports is low, and some problems still exist in running the teams. This paper is going to make an intensive and comprehensive investigation in the current situation about high level sports teams in general universities in JiLin province, and put forward some countermeasures to solve the currently existing problems.By means of documentary, questionnaires, experts interviews, statistics and comparative analytic, taking three major components of a sports team (athlete, coach, manager of the sports teams) as cutting in point, and the high level sports teams in seven universities in JiLin province as investigation object, this article makes an investigation about the present situation of university's high level sports teams in our province. The result indicates: 1. Universities'high level sports teams in JiLin province rank in the middle in our country. 2. The sports events of universities'high level sports teams in JiLin province are rather few and the sports rank of the athletes is comparatively low. 3. The levels of the coaches in high level sports teams in universities in JiLin province are uneven. The age structures are basically reasonable, primarily young and middle aged people. 4. Coaches in universities'high level sports teams in JiLin province are all PE teachers in universities who take it as part time job, and most of whom haven't received professional training. 5. The management systems of universities in high level sports teams in JiLin province are not well enough, and the facilities in the playground can not meet the needs of the training. 6. The universities'high level sports teams are lack of funds and the source of the funds is single. Meanwhile this article also discusses the development countermeasures of high level sports teams in universities in our province in this new historical period, namely: expanding the channel of students'source; increasing funds and the approaches of getting funds; strengthening leaders'attention and clarifying management responsibilities; focusing on people and settling the conflict between study and training effectively; training a group of high-level coaches and consummating coach incentive system; consummating competition system and increasing the opportunity to take part in competitions; highlighting key points and appropriately adjusting the events structure. With this paper the author is expecting to offer reference and suggestion for the sustainable development for high level sports teams in universities in JiLin province.
