Hosting events put a comprehensive impacts of economy,society and tourism on the hosting destination. Many events were hosted not for the consideration of tourism benefits. However,with the development of city tourism, developing tourism projects based on events have been a important method to develop tourism and promote tourism economy. hosting mega events such as the Olympics Games and Asian Game requires considerable investment of human, financial, and physical resources from host communities。It suggests that for a mega event to be successful, the understanding and participation of all stakeholders in the process is crucial. Underestimating the power of public debate and support may result in time-consuming, often bitter battling over costs. Therefore, it is important for local governments, policymakers and organizers to appreciate the level of community support toward the proposed event, and to understand the basis of both support and opposition. And, In the domestic academic circle, study on events is on the primary stage based on citizens'perspective. Therefore, Based on literature review, the author has proposed some hypothesis of the impact of citizens'participation, perceptive benefits and perceptive cost to citizens supporting Asian Games. And tested the hypothesis in an empirical study in Yuexiu district,Liwan district,Dongshan district,Haizhu district and Tianhe district in Guangzhou city . The result of regression analysis indicated that: 1,citizens'participation directly affects citizens supporting Asian Games, and it is also the most important factor that affect citizens supporting Asian Games. 2,citizens perceptive profits which included Perceived economy profits,Perceived society profits,Perceived environment profits directly affects citizens supporting Asian Games. 3,citizens Perceived costs which includes Perceived society costs and economy costs directly and negatively affect citizens supporting Asian Games.
