Research On Guangzhou Asian Games Voluntary Service Innovation

In recent years, a number of major international sports competitions such as the BeijingOlympic Games, the Guangzhou Asian Games successfully held in China. It is not onlyenhancing China’s international status, showing the comprehensive strength of the big country,but also in promoting the development of sports volunteer service. The level of volunteerservice, could shows the states of the Games, and have benefits to each others. Therefore, thepublic pays close attention to the sports volunteer service, also volunteer service innovationattracted more.2010Guangzhou Asian Games, hundreds of thousands of young volunteers serve for theGames. They did a good job and contributed to development of Guangzhou Asian Gamesvolunteer service. It is not only a new milestone in the history, but also a motive force toChina’s sporting events volunteer service. Therefore, it is necessary to having a analysis onthe topic.This paper, based on Rational Choice Theory, Social Capital theory and Governance theory,resort to literature and questions survey, gives a tentative summary of three volunteer servicemodes in Guangzhou2010Asian Games, and make relevant conclusions andrecommendations. It shows eight creative volunteering service programs, like messenger,Thumb Action, LeYangyang, Guangzhou legend, Asian Games volunteer hour, love team,Jinyan team, the Asian Games, think tanks, then the research explores influence andenlightenment brought by the Asian Games volunteer service.
