Our society is undergoing a comprehensive restructuring of social structure, as rapid economic development, scientific and technological progress, increasing people's living standard. consequently, we have to confront with the unprecedented crisis of trust.This has led to a wide attention in our domestic academe and the issue of trust has become a hot academic problems. Quantitative research about the status of trust has been described by many scholars. However, how the trust takes effect on our action, what the level and structure of trust change have not been lucubrated.Based on trust theory of Luhmann, under the guidance of empirical sociology, this study collects materials through interview. taking a new type of rural cooperative medical care in S village, Bazhong, Sichuan province as an example. It aims to examine the base and the structural change of trust and grasp the status and reason of trust in our rural areas.This research discovers that the trust in the current countryside area presents four characteristics: (1) the level of trust appears to rise; (2) interpersonal trust still plays the vital role; (3) pair of countryside outstanding person's trust strengthens much more; (4) institutional trust will play the key role in the future.The reason of this phenomenon is mainly due to the change if people's life style, the loss of traditional culture, the gap between rich and poor and instability of social order. The modern system has the characteristic of fairness, determinism and universality as the behavior rule,. Based on it, villagers had discovered that they can trusts contract in addition to the blood relationship and the person lives in nearbyThe study proposes solutions, such as strengthening collective cooperation and promoting rural cooperative organizations, establishing a favorable policy and intensifying the building of the legal system and publicity efforts.
