With the development of the society and technology, we not only need knowledge, but also need to learn how to acquire and develop knowledge, and at the same time, we also need to find out our potential and strength, and finally form life- long learning ability. So for our teachers, we should pay more attention to develop the students'own learning ability. So the new curriculum criterion requires that students should actively attend the inquisitive learning, and thus this requires teachers to do inquisitive teaching in the class.By relating the criterion of the high school biology teaching and the procedure of the students'physical and mental development with her own teaching experience, the author gives us a description of the meaning, the purpose, the principle, and the origin of the inquisitive teaching theory. And at the same time, the author also has a research about whether the inquisitive teaching will influence the grades and the interest of the students'learning. And finally, the conclusion is that the inquisitive teaching arouses their interest, develops their thinking ability, and improves their general ability.And at the end of the essay, According to the result of the research, the author gives some valuable advice on how to do the inquisitive teaching in the class.
