| The Present paper tries to find a more effective approach to the teaching of Grammar in junior high schools. It first analyses the existing problems in current grammar teaching in junior high schools. Then it reviews the faith of new curriculum and the relevant research in this area. In order to verify the new grammar teaching methods, the author designed and carried out a project research, in which attempts were made to use many different methods to grammar teaching under new curriculum.The paper falls in five chapters:Chapter One first introduces the social context of the research and the main structure of the paper.Chapter Two presents the basic theory and the concepts concerned.Chapter Three discusses the current situation of grammar teaching in English teaching in junior schools and the factors affecting grammar teaching.Chapter Four deals with how to conduct grammar teaching guided by the new curriculum, presenting some examples of grammar teaching in junior schools.Chapter Five is the conclusion of this paper, discussing the results of grammar teaching under the new curriculum.It is hoped that this paper will bring some implications for the later researchers and will be some help to English teaching in junior schools. |
