Grammar refers to the language organization law;the structure of language.It is when people use language communication,literal combination and make others understand a set of rules.English grammar is a fundamental part of the English language.English language learning starts with the letters,words,connect words and connecting words is done by the rules of English grammar.In the primary school English teaching,there is an endless argument about the grammar teaching.Fellow scholars opinions vary.In today's increasingly education progress,according to the "compulsory education English curriculum standards(2011 edition)",scholars have mentioned that primary schools should take grammar teaching.Attention has shifted to what "teaching" and "how to teach" problem.This is also the core of this study.This research mainly divided into five parts:The first part: the prophase preparation.Mainly,around the problems put forward: to study the origin;definition of the core concepts;Literature review part,including the domestic and foreign research on primary school English grammar teaching;as well as the research design of this study,including research questions,methods,objects,such as a brief elaboration.The second part: on the present situation of primary school English grammar teaching method.The Shanghai version of the Oxford English teaching material analysis.Investigation was done.Two methods to investigate the present situation of primary school English grammar teaching,through interviews and classroom observationThe third part: from two aspects,teachers' teaching and students' characteristic analysis,the fundamental cause of the status quo,and to develop solutions.The fourth part: to put forward the primary school English grammar teaching method of action research,the rationality of the testing and validation strategies.The fifth part: the conclusion and reflection.
