The humanity is a broad concept which can come into the various aspects of our life. It enriches our spiritual life, improves our spiritual quality and soothes our spiritual homeland. But it's common to see anti-humanity in reality. The history education bears the responsibility of cultivating the humanity. Under the leadership of humanity research, this paper probes into the strategy of realizing the developing of humanity from the practical aspect of history education, and records the related serious of practical survey and research analysis.This dissertation is composed of three sections.The first section sets forth that the intrinsic quality of history education is the cultivation of humanity. In this chapter, firstly, the concept of humanity is discriminated. Secondly, the necessity of cultivation of humanity in history education is expounded from the aspect of the features of history education, the demand of social development, the demand of a new round of course reform, etc. Later it mentioned that the absence of humanity is still an unavoidable issue in practical history education, and so it further accounts for the necessity of the cultivation of humanity and practical research in history education.The second section probes into the strategies of the cultivation of humanity in history education. This chapter first discusses the connotation of humanity in history education. Then it explores the strategies of the cultivation of humanity in history education and comes down to the following four types: optimizing the cultural environment inside and outside the classroom and establishing a harmonious equal relationship of mutual respect between the students and the teacher; building up the human-oriented education practice and developing the students' life-long learning ability and their creativity; excavating the humane details of course resources and helping the students to establish proper sensibility, attitude and values; perfecting the human-oriented evaluation system.The third section is the major focus of this dissertation, mainly recording the practical research of the cultivation of humanity in history education, taking the case of world Middle Ages history education. It includes the investigation before the practice and the relevant questionnaire analysis, showing the implementation of the permeable cultivation of humanity in the process of world Middle Ages history education by means of case study, and detecting and analyzing the effect of implementation.In a word, the improvement of the culture of humanity has many factors, among which the school, the family, the society, etc. all have a certain influence. Therefore the cultivation of humanity needs not only the effort from the school, but also the combined effort from the whole society, and it is a long-term effort of perseverance.
